QA Engineer – Automated Testing with Python & Playwright

About the role

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to join our product team and ensure the highest quality of our web applications. You will work closely with developers, UX designers and business analysts throughout the full software development lifecycle, creating both manual and automated tests.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and end‑to‑end test suites using Python and Playwright.
• Write clear test cases, testing scenarios and acceptance criteria for new features.
• Execute manual testing, report defects, and verify fixes.
• Perform regression, smoke and release testing, as well as API testing with tools such as Postman.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Collaborate with developers, designers and business analysts during all development phases.
• Support user acceptance testing and promote best practices for software quality.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a quality assurance engineer.
• Strong hands‑on expertise in Python programming and Playwright automation.
• Experience building robust UI testing solutions and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with agile (scrum) environments and good English communication skills.
• AI‑testing experience and ISTQB certification are a plus.
• Knowledge of SQL for testing purposes is desirable.
