About the role

We are looking for a SAP Basis System Architect to lead the design, transformation and operational excellence of our SAP landscapes. The role will shape scalable, secure and cloud‑ready SAP platform architectures that support S/4HANA, SAP Business Technology Platform, SAP Cloud ALM, Solution Manager and hybrid cloud environments.

Key responsibilities

Define SAP platform architecture standards, governance and sizing strategies.
Design S/4HANA landscapes for on‑premise, private and public cloud deployments.
Lead RISE with SAP and cloud transformation programs, including Azure, AWS and GCP hyperscaler deployments.
Architect high‑availability, disaster‑recovery and performance engineering solutions.
Establish monitoring and observability standards using SAP Cloud ALM.
Drive automation for system provisioning, operations and transport management.
Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations and conversions.
Support SAP Basis modernization and Clean Core compliance initiatives.

Required profile

Strong knowledge of SAP Basis administration, SAP NetWeaver and S/4HANA architecture.
Experience with SAP HANA database, Landscape Management and SAP Cloud ALM.
Proficiency in SAP Solution Manager, SAP Focused Run and SAP BTP administration.
Hands‑on experience with RISE with SAP, SAP Private Cloud Edition and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Familiarity with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools.
Understanding of SAP Identity Management, IAS/IPS, SSO, SNC, TLS, certificates and authorization concepts.
English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
