Senior Fund Accountant

About the role

The Senior Fund Accountant will join Apex Group’s global fund administration team, supporting private‑equity and other investment funds. You will be responsible for accurate daily accounting, financial reporting, and audit coordination while mentoring junior staff.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and input daily journal entries.
• Produce fund financial statements, footnotes and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate and support year‑end audit processes.
• Monitor and record daily cash activity and fund capital allocations.
• Track portfolio company transactions and calculate investment returns.
• Respond to investor and investment requests.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.
• Perform ad‑hoc financial analysis and client‑specific assistance as required.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• University degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Audit (preferred).
• Exposure to the private‑equity industry is a plus.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Highly motivated team player with strong multitasking ability.
