Senior Fund Controller

About the role

The Senior Fund Controller will lead the preparation and oversight of fund financial reporting for Apex Group’s private‑equity and fund administration business. Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will ensure accurate statements, audit coordination and cash management while supporting a collaborative, on‑site team.

Key responsibilities

• Produce fund financial statements, footnotes and supporting schedules.
• Coordinate and support year‑end audit processes.
• Monitor and record daily cash activity across funds.
• Prepare fund capital activity allocations and partner capital accounts.
• Track portfolio company transactions and calculate investment performance returns.
• Respond to various investor and investment information requests.
• Provide training and guidance to junior team members.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in fund accounting or finance.
• University degree, preferably in Economics, Accounting, Finance or Audit.
• Exposure to the private‑equity industry is a plus.
• Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly motivated team player capable of multitasking.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
