Senior .NET Backend Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior .NET Backend Developer to join a world‑leading reinsurance and risk‑management company. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high‑quality backend systems that support complex insurance and risk‑assessment solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain backend applications using C# and .NET (Core, 5‑8+).
• Design and integrate components, ensuring seamless connectivity across services.
• Write clean, testable, and efficient code for APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with clients to discuss technical solutions and contribute innovative ideas.
• Produce technical documentation, instructional guides, and detailed specifications.
• Work within Agile Scrum teams, following Agile principles for delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend or Full‑Stack Software Developer.
• Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Team player thriving in a collaborative, fast‑paced Agile environment.

Required skills

• C# and .NET Core / .NET Framework (versions 5‑8 or newer).
• SQL Server, Azure Service Bus, ARM templates.
• Design and implementation of RESTful microservices.
• Azure PaaS services: App Service, Application Insights, Cosmos DB.
• Angular and TypeScript (nice to have).
• Azure DevOps, YAML pipelines, Docker, Terraform, Helm (nice to have).
