Accountant

About the role

Promont Komerc is seeking a dedicated Accountant to manage day‑to‑day accounting operations in its Niš office. You will work closely with management and cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and support the company’s sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Post journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and perform account reconciliations.
• Prepare financial statements, reports, and cash‑flow monitoring.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and manage payment cycles.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow analysis.
• Support tax compliance, audit documentation, and regulatory filings.
• Identify and implement improvements to internal financial controls and procedures.

Required profile

• Relevant education in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field; certifications are a plus.
• Experience in an accounting or finance role within a commercial or industrial environment.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills in an on‑site setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas and data analysis.
