Accounting Officer

About the role

We are looking for an Accounting Officer to join our finance team at MOL Serbia Finance. You will support daily accounting operations, optimise processes and contribute to the financial reporting of an international company.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date accounting records and ensure compliance with monthly reporting standards and deadlines.
• Verify and retrieve inventory data from the electronic inventory system (SEF) and enter it into the ERP system.
• Coordinate posting of inventory transactions and align them with financial records.
• Communicate with external accounting firms and suppliers as needed.
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial activities.

Required profile

• High school diploma in Economics; a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail and a collaborative team‑player attitude.
• Intermediate written and spoken English.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience using an ERP system for inventory and financial postings.
