Accounts Receivable Accountant – French/Italian Speaker

About the role

Join the newly created Corporate Finance Shared Service Center (CFSSC) in Novi Sad as an Accounts Receivable Accountant. You will work in a multilingual environment, supporting French‑ or Italian‑speaking customers and ensuring timely collection of payments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and reconcile customer accounts to guarantee accuracy and prompt payment.
• Generate and send invoices, statements and payment reminders.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding invoices, chargebacks, disputes and refunds.
• Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to resolve payment‑related issues.
• Prepare and analyse ageing reports to prioritize collection efforts.
• Maintain up‑to‑date billing and contact information in the system.
• Process customer payments (checks, credit cards, electronic transfers).
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including reconciliations and reporting.

Required profile

• Fluency in English and French or Italian.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting (preferred).
• Previous experience in accounts receivable or a related function.
• Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
