Art Director

About the role

Playrix is looking for an Art Director who will shape the visual identity of its mobile games. You will lead the visual development during pre‑production, redefine graphic approaches, and collaborate with producers to create strategic visual solutions for flagship titles.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the visual development of games in the pre‑production phase.
• Reimagine existing graphic pipelines and introduce innovative visual strategies.
• Partner with producers to define artistic direction for flagship mobile titles.
• Provide constructive feedback and ensure visual quality across all assets.

Required profile

• Strong product vision, high artistic taste, and a keen eye for quality balance.
• Deep understanding of production pipelines and graphics creation for games.
• Excellent grasp of concepts and rendering techniques.
• Experience designing characters, illustrations, isometric scenes, and UI elements.
• Robust portfolio showcasing casual 2D graphics.
• Ability to spot visual errors and deliver constructive feedback.
• Knowledge of global mobile‑games market trends.
• Minimum five years of experience in the gaming industry.
• Hands‑on experience with AI image models such as Stable Diffusion or FLUX.
