Audit & Compliance Manager – Europe

About the role

As the Audit & Compliance Manager for Europe, you will own audit readiness and tax regulatory compliance across all European entities of Aleph. You will design and standardise the audit and compliance framework, coordinate with local finance teams and external accountants, and act as the primary liaison with auditors and tax authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end statutory and global group audit processes across 23 European countries, including planning, PBC list coordination and timely sign‑off.
• Serve as the main regional point of contact for external audit firms, managing timelines and resolving open items.
• Align local statutory filings with global reporting schedules (IFRS, US GAAP, local GAAP) to ensure seamless audit execution.
• Define and enforce audit and compliance standards, ensuring consistent quality across all markets.
• Collaborate with Tax, Transfer Pricing, Legal and hub‑entity finance teams on VAT, customer transaction reviews and company‑wide compliance matters.
• Drive automation, AI and dashboard initiatives to modernise reporting and audit processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading statutory and group audits in a multi‑country European environment.
• Strong understanding of tax regulations, VAT and regulatory compliance across Europe.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact confidently with senior leadership, auditors and tax authorities.
• Ability to design and implement audit frameworks from scratch.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP and local GAAP reporting standards.
• Familiarity with audit automation tools and dashboarding concepts.
