Carrier Sales Representative – Freight Broker

About the role

Wersirius is expanding its U.S. freight brokerage operations and is looking for a motivated Carrier Sales Representative to join its team in Nis, Serbia. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on building and maintaining a strong carrier network to support freight movements across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, contact, and secure capacity from carriers for loads and lanes in the U.S. market.
• Negotiate rates, timelines, and transportation terms while ensuring profitability.
• Maintain and expand relationships with reliable carriers, updating carrier information in the TMS.
• Communicate with carriers throughout the shipment lifecycle and resolve operational issues.
• Monitor market conditions and carrier rates to support competitive pricing.
• Match available carrier capacity with appropriate freight opportunities.
• Verify carrier documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Collaborate with Dispatch and Track & Trace teams to ensure smooth pickup, transit, and delivery.
• Respond quickly to changes in capacity, rates, schedules, and other transportation challenges.

Required profile

• Fluent English communication skills.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in transportation or freight brokerage.
• Strong negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to manage documentation and data accurately.

Required skills

• Experience using a Transportation Management System (TMS).
