Category Vendor Manager – EMEA (Remote)

About the role

The Category Vendor Manager will oversee the performance of all clinical vendors across Worldwide Clinical Trials’ EMEA studies, ensuring supply security and compliance with service level agreements throughout the trial lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with third‑party service providers and implement the vendor governance program, monitoring compliance and effectiveness.
• Measure and assess vendor performance using scorecards, satisfaction surveys and vendor‑provided KPIs, and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Support study teams in resolving vendor performance issues, manage vendor‑related quality incidents and oversee CAPA implementation.
• Maintain vendor assessment records, qualification status and audit certificates, and represent Vendor Management in sponsor qualification audits.

Required profile

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work across global functions.
• Attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Minimum three years of vendor management experience, preferably within the pharmaceutical or CRO industry.

Required skills

• Experience with Trackwise, Salesforce or Sciforma database systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
