Cyber Security Management Engineer

About the role

The Cyber Security Management Engineer will lead all cyber security activities for electric traction drive systems, ensuring compliance with ISO 21434, UNECE WP.29 and ZF’s internal processes. You will work closely with global project teams, R&D, and production to embed security from concept through series production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cyber security development in line with ISO 21434, UNECE WP.29 and ZF Cyber Security Engineering Process.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, cyber security plans, analysis results and reports.
• Conduct vulnerability analysis, threat analysis and risk assessments.
• Define and propose security measures and controls to mitigate identified risks.
• Plan, monitor and execute cyber security test procedures.
• Collaborate with functional engineers, quality managers and V&V teams to verify security requirements.
• Provide regular status updates and technical reviews to internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Vehicle Technologies or a comparable field.
• Experience with automotive cyber security processes and standards (ISO SAE 21434, UNECE WP.29, ISO IEC 27001) is a plus.
• Knowledge of threat modeling, risk assessment and vulnerability analysis.
• Understanding of embedded software and hardware in automotive applications.
• Basic knowledge of structured engineering approaches.
• Fluent spoken and written English.
