Cyber Security Resiliency Technical Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Resiliency Technical Analyst joins Syneos Health’s Office of the CISO and Cyber Resiliency Team. The role focuses on analyzing data, telemetry, and configurations to uncover weaknesses in operational and process controls, supporting the organization’s ability to respond to and recover from cyber threats.

Key responsibilities

• Support execution of the Cyber Resiliency and Exposure Management program, developing reports and dashboards that track resiliency metrics, exposure trends, and control performance.
• Evaluate vulnerability, configuration, and operational telemetry to identify exposure or resiliency weaknesses and implement KPI reporting.
• Partner with security architects, engineers, and operational teams to define resiliency metrics, validate risks, and prioritize remediation based on vulnerability and threat data.
• Educate and engage security engineering and operational teams to drive risk remediation and support security reviews against common attack vectors.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, or cyber risk analysis.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present complex data to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience performing data analytics with visualization tools such as PowerBI.
• Familiarity with security frameworks (NIST CSF, HITRUST, CCM) and prioritization methods (CVSS, EPSS, KEV).
