Data Engineer

About the role

As a Data Engineer you will work with cutting‑edge technologies to shape data processes in a fast‑growing fintech company that provides online payment processing solutions. You will develop scalable data pipelines, optimise the data infrastructure and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data accuracy and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate multiple data sources into internal systems.
• Develop, optimise and maintain ETL pipelines and data ingestion processes.
• Own and document data lakes.
• Transform complex data structures into machine‑readable formats.
• Design and maintain databases and data infrastructure.
• Collaborate with other departments to verify data relevance, quality and accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency of existing data processes.

Required profile

• Strong proficiency in Python and advanced SQL.
• Hands‑on experience designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and processing solutions.
• Experience in fintech or payment processing.
• Fluent in English; Russian language skills are a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast‑paced environment.
