DevSecOps Engineer

About the role

Big Stars is looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join its Belgrade office. You will lead the development of a secure DevSecOps culture, shape road‑maps, and ensure that the company’s infrastructure and pipelines meet the highest security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the DevSecOps strategy, creating road‑maps and improving security culture.
• Assist DevOps teams with secure Istio, ServiceMesh, and Kubernetes (EKS) configurations.
• Transfer services to DevOps, provide training on security principles, and act as a liaison.
• Implement OPA policies and virtualization security analysers.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines, integrating tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and other DevOps solutions.
• Deploy security scanners within pipelines and automate security processes.

Required profile

• Solid understanding of DevOps fundamentals (CI/CD) and micro‑service architectures.
• Experience analysing infrastructure for security risks and applying mitigation strategies.
• Proven ability to automate management processes, access control, and privileged user management.
• Familiarity with SSDLC (OSAMMv2) principles.
