Director of Mobile & Web Platform

About the role

Tide is looking for a senior leader to head the Mobile and Web Platform organisation in Serbia. You will own the technical direction and standards for Tide’s frontend ecosystem, ensuring it remains performant, maintainable and aligned with commercial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Client Engineering organisation responsible for core health and delivery of mobile and web applications.
• Partner with Staff Engineers to define and advocate a pragmatic frontend strategy.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in large‑scale monorepo workflows.
• Evaluate the current technology stack and workforce model to maximise engineering leverage.
• Drive product virtualisation and observability to give global stakeholders full visibility into the product experience.
• Ensure delivery excellence through modern release engineering practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large frontend engineering teams.
• Deep understanding of architectural health for web and mobile applications.
• Strong ability to balance technical excellence with business objectives.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Experience with large‑scale monorepo workflows.
• Knowledge of modern frontend stacks and performance optimisation.
• Familiarity with release engineering and observability tools.
