Environmental Specialist

About the role

Oximio is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support its global environmental strategy. You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations, drive sustainable practices, and help implement ISO 14001 across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Update and review environmental policies, procedures and SOPs.
• Develop, implement and maintain Oximio’s Environmental Management Programme.
• Monitor environmental performance, prepare data and report on environmental KPIs.
• Create action plans to improve performance and minimise legal and financial risks.
• Support ISO 14001 implementation and maintenance.
• Track current and upcoming environmental legislation, standards and industry trends.
• Conduct environmental assessments and identify associated risks.
• Recommend mitigation measures and improvement plans.
• Develop and deliver environmental training and awareness initiatives.
• Maintain EMS documentation and records.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience in an environmental, sustainability or related role.
• Higher education in Environmental Science, Management, Engineering, Sustainability or a related field.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Environmental Management Systems and ISO 14001.
• Up‑to‑date knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
