Experienced Associate / Senior Associate – Corporate Law

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join our corporate team in Belgrade. The role offers exposure to sophisticated transactions and a supportive, dynamic environment within a leading international law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Advise domestic and international clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial law matters.
• Support and lead workstreams in mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings, and joint venture projects.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and transaction documents.
• Provide guidance on corporate governance and general corporate advisory matters.
• Participate in complex cross‑border transactions alongside colleagues from multiple jurisdictions.
• Develop practical, commercially focused legal solutions tailored to client needs.
• Manage client relationships and contribute to the successful delivery of legal projects.

Required profile

• Law degree with a strong academic background.
• Proven experience in corporate law, M&A, and commercial matters gained in a law firm or comparable environment.
• Excellent command of Serbian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and legal analytical skills.
• High level of responsibility, organization and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under deadlines.
• Commercial mindset and solution‑oriented approach.
• Team‑player attitude with the ability to collaborate across jurisdictions and cultures.
• Proactive, motivated and eager to take ownership of challenging assignments.
