Factory Controller (m/f/d)

About the role

Join the newly established European Controlling Shared Services Hub in Belgrade as a Factory Controller. You will work in an international environment, supporting strategic financial decisions and helping to raise reporting and controlling standards across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly closing, forecasting and budgeting processes for the plant and analyse financial results.
• Monitor manufacturing KPIs such as productivity, labor efficiency, scrap, inventory and overhead costs.
• Act as a trusted business partner to the Plant Manager, providing financial analysis and actionable insights for decision‑making.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure accurate product costing.
• Prepare management reports and presentations, ensure compliance with corporate finance policies and support internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration.
• At least 3 years of experience in controlling, plant finance, manufacturing finance or cost accounting.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations and related financial processes.
• Advanced Excel skills and analytical mindset.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems is a plus.
• Excellent Serbian and English communication abilities.
• Proactive, organized, solution‑oriented and able to work with both finance and operations teams.
