Finance Manager

About the role

Adient is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning and analysis for its Loznica plant. You will support profit targets, capital projects and compliance while collaborating with commercial and production teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare the annual profit plan and monthly outlooks, analysing material margin, conversion cost, inventories, CAPEX and cash flow.
• Analyse month‑end results, explain variances versus plan and outlook, and highlight potential financial issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives with financial calculations and validation of achievements.
• Coordinate balance‑sheet audits, internal controls, BOS and SOX compliance for the plant.
• Assist rollout of new processes and systems, and cooperate with commercial units on quoting and program profitability.
• Prepare capital investment requests, validate paybacks and produce ad‑hoc financial models for management.

Required profile

• University degree in Economics or equivalent with focus on controlling/accounting.
• Strong analytical skills, ability to deep‑dive data and uncover business drivers.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably automotive, in a controller or finance role.
• Good organisational skills, self‑motivation and ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Excel (high‑level efficiency) and knowledge of MS Access.
• General SAP FI/CO functionality.
• Knowledge of financial KPIs, production costing methodology and program profitability analysis.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and accounting/financial reporting regulations.
• Experience with Hyperion is a plus.
