Finance Operations & FP&A Lead

About the role

You will serve as the operational backbone of finance for a fast‑moving e‑commerce retailer. This individual‑contributor position combines ownership of financial reporting, cash‑flow visibility, payroll operations, and process improvement, with the opportunity to grow into broader finance leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Own monthly P&L, budget‑vs‑actual analysis, cash‑flow forecasting and KPI reporting for the COO/CEO.
• Monitor P&L, perform reconciliations and margin data checks to identify inconsistencies early.
• Map, document and continuously improve finance processes across FP&A, controlling and accounting operations.
• Work with multiple systems, outsourced accounting providers and manual workflows, driving automation and data quality.
• Support payroll operations and ensure accurate financial data for decision‑making.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FP&A, controlling or accounting within a high‑growth e‑commerce or retail environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with imperfect data and multiple systems.
• Hands‑on, builder‑oriented attitude focused on process optimization and automation.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with finance and operational teams.
