Finance Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Finance Operations Manager to own finance and operational administration across multiple entities. The role is hands‑on, execution‑focused and aims to keep bookkeeping, billing, compliance and contractor administration running cleanly with minimal founder involvement.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day bookkeeping for eight entities, manage month‑end close in Xero and maintain audit‑ready records.
• Coordinate billing, refunds, disputes, chargebacks and contractor payments, including onboarding and invoice validation.
• Maintain a master compliance calendar, track statutory filings, renewals and tax deadlines across all entities.
• Maintain corporate and statutory records, prepare member/shareholder resolutions and ensure audit‑ready documentation.
• Document finance workflows, implement process improvements, automate repetitive tasks and build simple dashboards for visibility.

Required profile

• CA qualified (newly qualified or experienced) with hands‑on finance operations/bookkeeping experience.
• Strong experience with Xero, preferably multi‑entity setups.
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills and comfort using AI tools for research and data work.
• Highly organized, detail‑driven and able to work independently in a founder‑led environment.
