Freelance AI Graphic Designer

About the role

Social Discovery Group is seeking a Freelance AI Graphic Designer to join its remote creative team. You will blend cutting‑edge AI image‑generation tools with solid design fundamentals to produce high‑performing visual assets for paid acquisition, landing pages, and social media.

Key responsibilities

• Design performance creatives and banners for Meta, TikTok, Google and other ad platforms.
• Create landing‑page layouts and email templates for hand‑off to development teams.
• Produce social‑media visuals and brand assets that follow established brand guidelines.
• Leverage AI image‑generation tools (e.g., Midjourney, Stable Diffusion) to generate variations, backgrounds, and style‑consistent assets.
• Adapt existing concepts across multiple sizes, formats, and platforms while maintaining visual consistency.
• Collaborate with producers, requesters, and the lead designer to scope tasks and align on creative direction.
• Incorporate basic performance metrics (CTR, CPA, spend) into creative decisions.
• Deliver work within SLA timelines and iterate quickly based on feedback.

Required profile

• Strong graphic‑design fundamentals (composition, typography, colour, hierarchy) demonstrated through a portfolio.
• Experience applying brand guidelines to high‑volume static design.
• Proficiency designing for digital formats such as performance ads, landing pages, and newsletters.
• Confidence using Figma (auto‑layout, components, libraries) and Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator.
• Practical experience with AI image‑generation tools and prompt engineering for production use.
• Familiarity with character/style‑consistency techniques (LoRA, IP‑Adapter, ControlNet) is a plus.
