GCP Architect – Cloud Solutions Lead

About the role

Devoteam is seeking a GCP Architect to lead the design and delivery of Google Cloud solutions for enterprise and mid‑market clients. You will act as a trusted technical advisor, translating business needs into secure, scalable, and high‑performance cloud architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own end‑to‑end Google Cloud architectures for diverse industry clients.
• Lead cloud adoption and migration projects from on‑premise, AWS, or Azure to GCP.
• Define architecture standards, best practices, and reference models across projects.
• Collaborate with DevOps, data, and application teams to deliver cloud‑native solutions.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for automated software delivery.
• Provide technical leadership during presales, workshops, and client presentations.
• Create detailed architecture documentation and ensure compliance with security, availability, and cost‑optimization requirements.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the Cloud practice.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture or senior cloud engineering roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services.
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
