GCP Architect

About the role

As a GCP Architect at Devoteam, you will act as a trusted technical advisor for customers, shaping cloud strategies and translating business requirements into robust Google Cloud solutions. You will collaborate with engineers, consultants and client stakeholders in international project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and own end‑to‑end Google Cloud architectures for enterprise and mid‑market clients.
• Lead cloud adoption and migration initiatives from on‑premise, AWS or Azure to GCP.
• Define architecture standards, best practices and reference models across projects.
• Collaborate with DevOps, data and application teams to deliver scalable cloud‑native solutions.
• Establish CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for automated software delivery.
• Provide technical leadership during presales activities, workshops and client presentations.
• Create detailed architecture documentation and ensure security, compliance, availability and cost‑optimization.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the Cloud practice.

Required profile

• 5+ years of senior cloud engineering or architecture experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Google Cloud Platform services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine, VPC, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Spanner, IAM, Security Command Center, Monitoring & Logging).
• Extensive experience with Kubernetes and container‑based architectures.
• Infrastructure as Code expertise, preferably Terraform.
• Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Consulting or customer‑facing experience and professional proficiency in English.
