Graduate Electrical Engineer

About the role

Join Arup's Electrical Engineering team in Serbia as a Graduate Electrical Engineer, contributing to innovative and sustainable building services solutions on multidisciplinary projects across Europe and internationally. You will work alongside experienced engineers, gain hands‑on experience from day one, and develop your skills through structured learning, mentoring and real project work.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design of electrical building services systems from concept through detailed design under senior engineer guidance.
• Prepare technical drawings, calculations, specifications and design reports.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to develop integrated and sustainable design solutions.
• Assist in project coordination and contribute to multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Participate in client meetings, workshops and site visits to gain practical engineering experience.

Required profile

• Hands‑on electrical engineering experience with a genuine interest in digital design and built‑environment innovation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree advantageous).
• 0‑3 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering design, consultancy or construction projects.
• Strong interest in building services engineering and multidisciplinary project delivery.
• Fluency in English.
