Graphic Design Specialist

About the role

The Graphic Design Specialist will create and implement graphic solutions that support IKEA’s product range and commercial priorities within the Belgrade store. You will work with high‑volume printing equipment, prepare files for production, and ensure clear, consistent visual communication for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Produce and implement graphic solutions by preparing files, operating graphic printing machines, cutting and applying PVC foils.
• Develop and install customer‑guidance and “how to shop” signage to help visitors navigate the store.
• Evaluate store graphic communication to ensure it is clear, consistent, uncluttered and correctly placed.
• Promote sustainable use of resources by recycling and reusing materials to minimise environmental and financial costs.

Required profile

• Experience operating graphic printing machines in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment.
• Adept with production tools such as cutters, plotters and small hand tools, and a strong understanding of digital file formats.
• Comfortable with a practical, hands‑on approach, including power tools, ladder work and installing graphics.
• Detail‑oriented with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken Serbian and English.

Required skills

• Adobe Design package (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Operation of graphic printing machines.
• Cutter and plotter equipment handling.
• Knowledge of digital file formats for print production.
