Head of Production

About the role

As Head of Production you will shape the long‑term production and technology strategy for a fast‑growing, family‑owned global company. You will be responsible for delivering customer orders on time while driving quality, productivity and cost efficiency across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi‑year production and technology roadmap to enhance competitiveness and operational excellence.
• Lead production operations, including capacity planning, investment decisions and resource allocation.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets, ensuring financial and operational targets are met.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes and the supply chain.
• Optimize productivity, cost efficiency, workforce utilization and overall plant performance.
• Recruit, lead and develop a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
• Support industrialisation and ramp‑up of new products and projects.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of senior leadership experience in manufacturing or operations management.
• Strong knowledge of production systems, manufacturing technologies, logistics and operational management.
• Proven ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams and drive organisational change.
• Solid understanding of budgeting, cost management and performance improvement.
• Strategic, analytical and results‑driven with excellent decision‑making and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluent English communication skills.
