HR Operations Partner (Fixed-Term)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Operations Partner to help establish and run our People Team operations in Novi Sad. The role works onsite and collaborates closely with senior HR Operations partners across EMEA, supporting both local employees and foreign nationals with day‑to‑day HR administration.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, coordinate and manage documentation required for residence and work permit applications for foreign nationals.
• Coordinate with local employment counsel and immigration attorneys to ensure proper signatures and compliance.
• Submit residence and work permit applications, including visits to government offices to track status.
• Handle government insurance applications and other statutory filings for foreign staff.
• Provide on‑site HR support for local employees, addressing administrative queries and ensuring compliance with Serbian labor regulations.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of local HR practices, employment law and compliance requirements.
• Experience supporting both local staff and expatriate employees.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a cross‑regional team.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Serbian is a plus.
