HR Shared Services Center Team Leader (German-speaking)

About the role

The HR SSC Team Leader will oversee the shared services team for multiple countries, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering high‑quality HR services. This position requires strong leadership, process expertise, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in a multicultural environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the SSC team, set goals, monitor performance and ensure alignment with corporate targets.
• Support the team in resolving urgent issues and provide coaching, recruitment, and development plans.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations, guaranteeing service delivery according to SLAs, KPIs and global guidelines.
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements, internal policies and procedures.
• Lead process improvement and standardisation projects within the team.
• Maintain regular relationships with local payroll, employee relations and HR business partners.
• Participate in and lead projects related to the responsible area and collaborate with other processes and teams.
• Contribute to transition and transformation initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in HR shared services or BPO environments.
• Experience in one or more HR processes and solid understanding of business needs.
• Leadership skills with experience managing intercultural and diverse teams.
• Basic knowledge of IT HR systems such as SuccessFactors, PeopleDoc, SAP HR and ticketing tools.
• Strong Microsoft 365 proficiency, especially Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.
• Academic degree or equivalent diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related field.
• Fluent German and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent organisational, planning and communication abilities.
