Human Resources Location Lead

About the role

Grid Dynamics is looking for an experienced Human Resources Location Lead to join our HR team in Belgrade, Serbia. This key leadership role oversees local HR operations, supports employees and managers, and ensures successful implementation of global HR initiatives within the Serbia location. The position is on‑site at our Belgrade office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the local HR team, managing task distribution, prioritization and ensuring high‑quality HR support.
• Ensure consistent application of global HR policies, adapting them to Serbian legal requirements when needed.
• Act as subject‑matter expert on Serbian labour law, employment regulations and HR compliance.
• Partner with business leaders, finance, payroll and delivery managers to support local business needs and people‑management topics.
• Oversee the full employee lifecycle – onboarding, performance reviews, career development and off‑boarding.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading an HR team in an IT or technology‑driven organization.
• Strong knowledge of Serbian labour law and local employment regulations.
• Experience supporting an international organization of 200+ employees.
• Analytical mindset with experience interpreting HR data and metrics.
• Fluent in English and Serbian.

• Advanced Excel – formulas and pivot tables.
