Junior Associate Relationship Manager

About the role

The Junior Associate Relationship Manager supports the management of a commercial portfolio, ensuring credit quality and customer relationship standards while contributing to the bank's growth targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide credit analysis and adhere to turnaround times for new requests.
• Maintain portfolio credit quality and protect bank assets.
• Develop and sustain quality customer relationships to enhance the bank’s reputation.
• Assist in portfolio growth and achievement of bank objectives.
• Gather and analyse margin requirement information within required time frames.
• Assess borrower risk and conduct customer interviews with the manager.
• Visit business premises or properties as needed.
• Prepare accurate review sheets and submit reports for authorization.
• Monitor overdrawn accounts and ensure regularisation.
• Supervise security items and provide administrative support.

Required profile

• Minimum high school education.
• At least 2 years banking experience in a credit‑related role.
• General knowledge of bank products, policies, and procedures.
• Good working knowledge of the bank’s core system – Phoenix.
• Understanding of lending, operations, and routine accounting processes.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office applications.
