Junior IT Engineer

About the role

As a Junior IT Engineer in the IT & Security team, you will support the design, deployment and maintenance of our network infrastructure while gaining hands‑on experience in security operations.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and maintain network devices such as switches, firewalls, routers and wireless access points.
• Install, configure and upgrade network equipment.
• Monitor network performance, stability and availability, and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist in the configuration and deployment of new network devices.
• Support maintenance and upgrades of the overall network environment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date network documentation and technical records.
• Ensure compliance with network security standards and policies.
• Monitor and respond to information security events.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and user guidelines.
• Collaborate with system and network teams to improve IT operations.
• Provide technical support to internal users.

Required profile

• 1+ years of IT experience is a plus.
• Solid understanding of computer fundamentals.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, firewalls).
• Familiarity with CLI‑based configuration of network devices is advantageous.
• Organised, proactive, fast learner with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Team‑player who collaborates openly and asks questions.
