Legal Advisor – Corporate & Compliance

About the role

The Legal Advisor, Corporate & Compliance supports corporate governance, legal entity management and compliance across Proximus Global and its subsidiaries. You will provide legal guidance on corporate and regulatory matters while ensuring adherence to legal requirements in multiple jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain statutory registers, corporate records and governance documentation for group entities.
• Oversee legal housekeeping, including annual returns, director appointments and coordination with external counsel.
• Support incorporation, dissolution and restructuring of legal entities and manage compliance calendars.
• Provide advice on corporate structure, governance risks and regulatory developments, including export and security topics.
• Identify and mitigate legal risks, conduct risk assessments and support compliance programmes.
• Assist with sanctions screening, due‑diligence, ESG data collection and internal investigations.
• Review and maintain group policies, compliance procedures and mandatory local policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in law or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a corporate or legal environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Pro‑active, analytical with strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong organizational skills and solid understanding of corporate law and governance frameworks.
