Legal Counsel

About the role

HEINEKEN Serbia is looking for a proactive and business‑oriented Legal Counsel to join its Legal team. The successful candidate will provide legal support across commercial, corporate, compliance, privacy, employment and regulatory matters while partnering closely with business functions to manage legal risks and enable growth. The role combines strong legal expertise with practical business judgment and a solution‑oriented approach.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements.
• Provide legal advice to Commercial, Marketing, Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Finance and other business functions.
• Support compliance programmes, including Code of Business Conduct, third‑party due diligence and ethics initiatives.
• Advise on privacy and personal data protection matters.
• Review marketing activities, promotional campaigns, prize games, contests and product‑labeling requirements.
• Assist with trademark and intellectual‑property protection activities.
• Support employment‑law matters, internal policies and HR documentation.
• Coordinate litigation and external‑counsel activities.
• Support corporate‑governance activities, registrations, powers of attorney and corporate housekeeping.
• Manage legal workflows through digital tools and contract‑management systems (e.g., Ironclad).

Required profile

• Law degree and successful Bar Exam (Pravosudni ispit).
• 3–5 years of relevant legal experience.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Strong contract‑drafting skills and good understanding of commercial, corporate and employment law.
• Strong communication, stakeholder‑management and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic business environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
