Licensed Construction Engineer (Licence 410 / GI 04-01.1)

About the role

We are seeking a Licensed Construction Engineer (Licence 410 / GI 04-01.1) to join an international construction company operating in Serbia. The role involves overseeing day‑to‑day site activities on industrial, commercial, residential and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with schedules, drawings and Serbian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Organise and manage daily site operations in line with the construction schedule and project requirements.
• Maintain construction documentation, issue work instructions to subcontractors and verify subcontractors’ logbooks.
• Check works against approved drawings and technical specifications, and coordinate resolution of site and quality issues.
• Support subcontractor engagement, procurement of materials and equipment, and assign tasks to site personnel.
• Collaborate with the Chief Architect and the international team, communicating in English.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Valid civil/structural execution licence GI 04‑01.1 or Licence 410, actively registered for the appropriate scope of work.
• Proven experience in construction execution and on‑site work, preferably on industrial projects.
• Knowledge of Serbian construction permitting and approval processes, including interaction with authorities.
• Ability to work across Belgrade, surrounding areas and other locations in Serbia.
• Professional proficiency in English for daily communication.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with a proactive, hands‑on attitude.
