Machine Learning Engineer

About the role

We are creating an AI department and need a senior engineer to lead the effort from day one. You will set technical direction, decide what to build versus buy, and help grow the team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and ship machine‑learning solutions that run in embedded and real‑time environments.
• Take models through the full lifecycle: data, training, optimization, integration, deployment and monitoring.
• Establish foundational MLOps infrastructure and tailor models for constrained targets (quantization, pruning).
• Collaborate with diverse business units (embedded, DTV, Android, IoT, automotive, CI/CD) to meet their constraints.
• Develop RAG systems and multi‑agent workflows to solve engineering bottlenecks.
• Define hiring needs, set engineering standards, and provide mentorship to interns and new hires.
• Communicate realistic AI capabilities and limits to stakeholders across the company.

Required profile

• Proven experience shipping ML models to production that real users depend on.
• Hands‑on experience with embedded and/or real‑time systems, including memory and CPU budgeting.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and practical experience with machine/deep‑learning frameworks and MLOps tooling.
• Ability to work without a fully defined roadmap and shape the job itself.
• University degree in Computer Science or related field and strong English communication skills.
