Maintenance Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead, plan and optimise maintenance activities at our Arandjelovac plant in Serbia. The role focuses on preventive, predictive and reliability‑centred strategies to ensure high equipment availability, cost‑efficient operations and a safe working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventive, predictive and reliability‑centred maintenance programmes to maximise equipment uptime.
• Plan and execute short‑, medium‑ and long‑term maintenance activities aligned with production requirements.
• Monitor and improve KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, uptime and maintenance cost.
• Lead troubleshooting, failure analysis and root‑cause analysis across mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
• Manage spare‑parts strategy, budgets (OPEX and CAPEX) and cost‑optimisation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and regulatory standards, promoting a strong safety culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 4–7 years of experience in maintenance management, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Excellent command of the local language; English proficiency is a plus.

Required skills

• Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical and industrial automation systems.
• In‑depth knowledge of preventive, predictive and reliability‑centred maintenance.
• Proficiency in Root Cause Analysis and failure analysis methodologies.
• Experience with CMMS and maintenance planning tools.
• Ability to manage budgets, cost control and CAPEX planning.
