Manager DIM Ingredients & Chemicals

About the role

Philip Morris International is seeking a Manager DIM Ingredients & Chemicals to support the management of product groups within the Ingredients & Chemicals sector. The role blends operational sourcing with strategic procurement, offering the chance to develop commodity expertise and progress toward broader category ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sourcing strategies and contribute to annual category plans.
• Manage supplier selection, RFx activities, negotiations and contract implementation.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, monitoring quality, delivery and cost performance.
• Prepare, negotiate and manage contracts and pricing agreements in line with internal policies.
• Monitor commodity market trends, cost drivers, risks and opportunities.
• Identify and drive cost‑optimization and value‑creation initiatives.
• Ensure regulatory compliance of sourced materials in collaboration with Quality and Regulatory teams.
• Support supply continuity through supplier qualification, risk mitigation and contingency planning.
• Partner with Manufacturing, R&D, Finance, Quality and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, technical, quality or related functions.
• Experience in direct‑materials procurement, preferably within chemicals, ingredients, FMCG or related industries.
• Hands‑on experience with supplier negotiations, sourcing processes and contract management.
• Understanding of chemical raw‑material markets and key cost drivers.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements such as EUDR, REACH, CLP or FDA.
