Manager, Global Business Services Transition & Process Improvement

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Transition Manager to drive the execution of multiple finance process transitions into our Global Business Services (GBS) organization. The role requires excellent project management skills, senior stakeholder engagement, and leadership through influence and coaching. Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20‑30%) is required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a portfolio of concurrent finance transition projects, coordinating schedules, resources and dependencies to meet program objectives.
• Plan and oversee all phases of each transition – assessment, knowledge transfer, cut‑over, stabilization (hyper‑care) and hand‑over to steady‑state operations.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams (local finance, GBS operations, IT, HR) and act as the central liaison between integrating entities and GBS.
• Provide regular governance updates to senior stakeholders and steering committees, escalating issues and risks as needed.
• Drive adoption of standard GBS processes, identify automation opportunities and feed improvements to relevant teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; MBA or master’s a plus.
• Approximately 8 years of experience in finance operations, shared services or GBS, with hands‑on management of complex process transitions.
• Proven project/program management ability to deliver multiple projects on time and within scope.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes (AP, AR, GL) and experience with ERP systems.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, fluent in English.
