Mechanical Design Manager

About the role

Eagle Hills is seeking a Mechanical Design Manager to lead all mechanical engineering aspects of its projects, primarily within the Belgrade Waterfront team. The role covers the full project lifecycle, from concept development through design management to construction support, ensuring high‑quality, efficient and maintainable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate mechanical design activities across all project stages, including concept, detailed design and construction support.
• Review and assess design submissions for HVAC, plumbing, fire protection and specialized systems, including drawings, specifications, calculations and BIM models.
• Ensure designs comply with project briefs, performance targets, local regulations, international standards and Eagle Hills design guidelines.
• Manage external design consultants, track technical comments and guarantee timely closure.
• Collaborate with architectural, structural, electrical, project management, procurement, cost, planning and facility‑management teams to deliver fully integrated solutions.
• Participate in BIM coordination, resolve multidisciplinary clashes and MEP interface issues.
• Propose value‑engineering measures to optimise cost, sustainability, energy efficiency and operational performance.
• Identify technical risks related to performance, constructability and maintainability and recommend mitigation strategies.
