Online IB Mathematics Tutor (SL & HL)

About the role

TestPrep is seeking an experienced IB Mathematics Tutor to deliver online lessons to International Baccalaureate Diploma students. The role focuses on both Standard Level (SL) and Higher Level (HL) curricula and requires clear instruction in English.

Key responsibilities

• Teach IB Mathematics (SL and HL) to international students.
• Deliver lessons clearly and effectively in English.
• Support students in conceptual understanding and exam preparation.
• Explain complex mathematical topics in a structured, student‑friendly way.
• Prepare students for IB‑style questions, assessments, and final examinations.
• Identify strengths and weaknesses and adapt lessons accordingly.
• Provide practice questions, homework, and feedback.
• Help improve problem‑solving techniques, mathematical reasoning, and exam strategy.

Required profile

• Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience teaching IB Mathematics.
• Ability to teach both SL and HL, or strong competence in at least one IB pathway.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Familiarity with the current IB Mathematics curriculum and examination structure.
• Experience with online teaching platforms and digital teaching tools.
• Reliable internet connection and suitable equipment for online lessons.
• Professional, responsible, and student‑focused approach.
