Operative Procurement Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Operative Procurement Specialist to join our Subotica team. The role focuses on ensuring material availability, optimizing stock levels, and supporting the supply chain through effective purchasing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain material availability for allocated commodities and manage optimal stock levels.
• Place and track material orders in SAP, handling acknowledgements and resolving non‑conformities.
• Update lead times, verify demand quantities, and coordinate with planning functions.
• Define ideal order quantities, execute push/pull ordering, and collaborate with suppliers on forecasts.
• Monitor procurement KPIs, conduct monthly supplier evaluations, and drive continuous improvement.
• Resolve blocked invoice issues and represent operative procurement in project teams.
• Maintain master data in the ERP system and support the rollout of new products and processes.

Required profile

• University degree, preferably in Economics.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar operative procurement role.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Advanced use of SAP for purchasing and inventory management.
