About the role

We are looking for an experienced technician to sharpen and maintain belt saws used in the production of classic oak parquet, solid wood flooring and multilayer boards. The role is essential for ensuring the cutting tools remain in optimal condition, supporting high‑quality output.

Key responsibilities

• Sharpen belt saws for Brentu brand equipment.
• Flatten belt saws for Brentu.
• Sharpen belt saws for Wintersteiger machines.
• Perform routine maintenance on the sharpening machine, including fluid checks, replacement of abrasives, tool changes and lubrication.
• Conduct quality inspections of incoming saw blades from the steel supplier.
• Collaborate with the production team to maintain high manufacturing standards.

Required profile

• Several years of proven experience in belt‑saw sharpening.
• Strong sense of responsibility, precision and ability to work independently.
• Willingness to cooperate within a team environment.
