About the role

The Accountant (licensed) at Chemistry Lab is a part‑time hybrid position based in the Belgrade Metropolitan Area. The role supports the laboratory’s financial operations by handling daily accounting tasks, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with tax and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Record financial transactions, maintain the general ledger, and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare financial statements, support budgeting and forecasting, and reconcile bank statements.
• Ensure tax compliance, assist with audits, and coordinate financial matters with internal stakeholders.
• Improve financial processes and provide documentation for management decisions.

Required profile

• Strong background in general accounting, financial reporting, and ledger management.
• Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Experience with tax compliance, regulatory requirements, and audit preparation.
• Valid accounting licence or certification recognized in Serbia.
• Ability to work independently, manage part‑time hours, and collaborate within a small professional team.
