Patient Engagement Specialist or Lead

About the role

Join Syneos Health’s Clinical Solutions team as a Patient Engagement Specialist or Lead, supporting patient engagement initiatives across clinical studies. You will work either on‑site in Belgrade or in a hybrid model, collaborating with study teams, sponsors, and vendors to ensure project deliverables meet expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Patient Engagement Lead in developing, preparing, approving, and distributing patient engagement materials from concept through closure.
• Set up and maintain tracking tools, ensuring all systems are updated accurately.
• Coordinate regulatory and ethics committee submissions for patient recruitment materials.
• Manage selected vendor partners within the allocated indirect budget and escalate issues as needed.
• Provide input for change orders and ensure out‑of‑scope activities are escalated before implementation.

Required profile

• C1 level English or higher.
• BA/BS in biological sciences or a related health‑care discipline.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, and time‑management skills.
• Ability to multitask under tight deadlines and work both independently and within a matrix team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic database applications.
