Physics Subject Matter Expert – Virtual & 3D Science Labs

About the role

We are looking for a Physics Subject Matter Expert to design and lead the creation of interactive virtual and 3D physics laboratories. You will turn traditional experiments into engaging digital experiences that enable students to explore phenomena, collect data, and draw conclusions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a cross‑functional team of SMEs, instructional designers, Unity developers, 3D designers, and QA engineers.
• Act as the primary liaison between product, design, development, and learning teams to ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee workflow, ticketing, and content quality checks before formal QA.
• Gather requirements, translate pedagogical needs into actionable tasks, and own the content lifecycle from concept to production readiness.
• Review UI/UX, assets, and learning flows for scientific accuracy and alignment with learning goals.
• Ensure all content complies with accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Contribute to research proposals, presales activities, and strategic partnership documentation.
• Support large or strategic client engagements, providing onboarding and implementation guidance.

Required profile

• Extensive physics knowledge with experience creating educational content.
• Proven leadership or team‑coordination experience in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong understanding of digital learning principles and virtual lab design.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
