Principal Cybersecurity Officer for Gas Services

About the role

The Principal Cybersecurity Officer for Gas Services will lead the development and execution of cybersecurity initiatives across the gas service portfolio, including products, solutions, services, production sites, and business‑managed IT. You will work closely with the Chief Cybersecurity Officer, the Executive Board, and senior business leaders to ensure a holistic and resilient security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Drive cybersecurity strategy and resilience for the entire gas services portfolio.
• Prepare and present regular cyber‑risk reports and status updates to the Chief Cybersecurity Officer and Executive Board.
• Define and implement the global cybersecurity strategy for the business unit.
• Support the Executive Vice President in fulfilling cybersecurity responsibilities.
• Identify staffing needs, build the required cybersecurity team, and align resources with business demand.
• Represent information security and industrial cybersecurity in meetings with executive management, customers, conferences, and external partners.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent experience in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Extensive professional experience in cybersecurity, information technology, or related functions.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams and communities.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, including executive management, in multicultural, multinational environments.
• Business‑fluent English and, where applicable, local language skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.
