Program Buyer

About the role

The Program Buyer will support the e‑mobility sub‑team in developing pure‑electric applications for passenger cars and commercial vehicles. You will be responsible for coordinating international sourcing, negotiating commercial terms and ensuring timely delivery of components, prototypes and services throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Act as purchasing representative to achieve commercial and timing targets.
• Plan and manage project‑related sourcing of components.
• Participate in supplier negotiations and nominations together with commodity purchasing.
• Conduct make‑and‑buy analysis and implement the chosen strategy during the project.
• Drive change‑management processes, including price negotiations, in coordination with commodity purchasing and specialist departments.
• Ensure availability of suppliers, components, prototypes and services in line with project requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical or economic field.
• Proven experience and deep understanding of purchasing processes.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Ability to work in multifunctional and multicultural teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset combined with target‑oriented work style.
